Leslie Sacks is not just any dog owner. She truly has a heart of gold! Sacks walked into the Asheville Humane Society shelter with an unusual request. She said, 'Who's the oldest that you have, the longest that has been here, who has been overlooked? I need that dog."
She later walked out with Sam and Brutus, both older dogs with special needs who had been passed over for adoption many times before. Now the two pups, who have been renamed Bruno and Bella, are living out their golden years with the Sacks family and couldn't be happier! She says they're just so happy to be loved, and I bet they really are!
