This bizarre story out of California is shocking people all around the country. A deputy sheriff in Lancaster, CA, claimed a sniper shot him as he walked out of the sheriff’s station. The sniper was supposedly firing from a nearby apartment building, and the report sparked an urgent hunt for a perpetrator.
But officials now say it was all just a hoax. No bullets were found at the scene and the officer had no visible injuries. The officer is now the subject of a criminal investigation.
I want to know how he thought he would get away with this, and why on earth he did it!?
