An Arizona mother frantically tried to get her son help after he was left in a van for hours. Police bodycam video from July shows authorities respond to the distressing situation in Goodyear. "My son was left in the hot van since 8:00 this morning," the mother can be heard saying. Authorities say the teen has autism and was heading to a daycare facility for people with special needs. Temperatures in the van reached a staggering 129 degrees... It's an absolute miracle the teen survived.
The caretaker, who says she had been a caretaker for nine years, was fired. Police have charged her with child abuse and endangerment.
