Teen Nearly Died From Vaping, Now He's Warning Others

Vaping is hugely popular among teenagers, and even pre-teens. Drugabuse.gov estimates that nearly 10% of eighth graders vape. But since vaping is still relatively new, we still don't know the long-term health risks, and as this teen shows, even the short term risks.

17-year-old Tryston found himself fighting for his life. His lungs failed him, and doctors placed him in a medically-induced coma last month. He managed to survive, and now he has a message to share with other teenagers about vaping. He says he began vaping in eighth grade and the habit is what nearly cost him his life.
