Bahamians Are Banding Together in the Wake of Dorian

The footage of the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian is difficult to look at... Miles and miles of homes and stores are completely demolished. It's hard to imagine how this once beautiful place will ever recover.

Residents are hard at work trying to rescue their neighbors in need. This video shows a group of people in Ol’ Freetown Farm joining together to help evacuate an elderly woman from her flooded home and get her to a hospital. Virginia Mosvold, 84, was carefully transported on a recliner. Her rescuers gently carried her from a truck and then helped her into another vehicle to get her to a doctor.
