Famous Chef Feeds Over 20,000 Hurricane Survivors Everyday for Free

Chef José Andrés is famous for the incredible creations he concocts in the kitchen. But he's not just a chef-- he's one of the greatest philanthropists of our time.

For the last 10 years, Andrés has been on the ground with his team from World Central Kitchen after disaster strikes. He heads straight to ground zero with his non-profit, which aims to wipe out poverty and hunger through food.

So when Hurricane Dorian ripped through the Bahamas last week, Andres and his crew were right there, mixing up meals that fed up to 20,000 people every single day. His goal is to feed at least 30,000 people per day, as the islands now crawl towards recovery.
