Not everyone looks forward to the start of a new school year. Some kids get nervous about the big changes coming their way, from new teachers to new classmates. And it's not just the kids... This class pet decided he wasn't ready for the new school year to kick off, so he hatched an escape plan!
The staff at Fond du Lac High School in Wisconsin spent the first week of class searching for a python that let itself out of its cage. The principal says the snake, named Kai, belongs to a science teacher. The fire department was even called in to look for it with thermal cameras, but Kai is quite elusive.
Sounds like a good enough reason to call in sick to me!
