The community of Gary, Indiana is mourning the unimaginable loss of a 14-year-old boy today. The high school football player, who has not yet been named publicly, was a student at Calumet High School. According to authorities, he was discovered at the bottom of the school's swimming pool after football practice on Wednesday. He was pulled from the pool and was unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital in Munster.
Investigators are looking into what happened that lead up to the discovery.
