Stunt Double Sues Movie Company After Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong

A stunt double injured on the set of the blockbuster film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is suing the film’s producers. "I remember up until the very impact," says professional stunt double Olivia Jackson, who was standing in for actress Milla Jovovich. The stunt called for Jackson to drive a motorcycle straight at a camera that was supposed to get out of the way. However, the camera didn’t move and she crashed right into it. Doctors put her in a coma and when she woke up, she learned doctors would soon need to amputate her arm.

According to Jackson, the stunt was planned at the last minute by the producers, and she was told to perform it in hazardous conditions.
