A 5-year-old girl in Villa Park is lucky to be safe after a coyote chased her through her yard this week.
The child was playing in her front yard when suddenly the coyote ran through the yard, briefly coming after her. She managed to escape and get safely into her home.
The terrifying moments were recorded by the family's home security system. Her parents released the video, posting it to YouTube, to warn other parents about the potential danger. Officials are looking into the incident.
