The family of a woman who drowned while a 911 operator mocked her say they are appalled by the handling of her emergency, but they somehow have managed to forgive the operator.

Debbie Stevens was frantic and sobbing as she was on the phone with a 911 operator in Arkansas. On the morning of August 24th, Stevens was out delivering newspapers when she found herself trapped in a flash flood. The water was rising as she begged the 911 operator to send help. The operator told Debbie to "shut up" and even reprimanded her for driving into water. Debbie eventually drowned.

Now, her family is speaking out about their anger at the handling of her emergency.
