Dan Anderson and Chelsea Freeman installed a Ring doorbell on their home, with a small security camera. It gives them peace of mind to always know who's knocking on their front door.
But the doorbell has caused major headaches for the family with their neighborhood homeowners association. The family received a letter from the association citing a rule that says, "No additions can be made to the outside..." of their home. The association claimed the doorbell was hurting the "aesthetic" of the neighborhood.
