They say cats have nine lives... Well, this little pup does too!
Police Officer Joe Puglia of Pinellas Park was in his patrol car when he saw a terrifying sight: a stray dog ran onto a 6 lane highway. Almost as soon as he saw the dog, the poor pup got hit by a car traveling at a high speed. He told Inside Edition, “I thought he was dead.” Puglia jumped into action, wrapping the dog in an emergency blanket and rushing him to the nearest animal hospital. Miraculously, the dog only suffered minor cuts and bruises!
The pup didn't have a microchip or a tag, so a city employee adopted him. He's found his furever home!
