Homeless Woman's Breathtaking Performance Recorded in Subway Platform

How could someone so incredibly talented end up in such a terrible situation?

Emily Zamourka has recently made headlines around the country when breathtaking solo was captured in a Los Angeles subway station. Zamourka is a classically trained violinist, originally from Russia. She became homeless and started playing on the street after getting hit with massive medical bills. When her $10,000 violin was stolen, she was left with only one instrument: her voice. Last week a police officer recorded her subway platform performance, and the video has gone viral. Several GoFundMe pages have been set up to help her, and one violinist offered to give her an instrument.
