4th Grader Kicked Out Into the Cold, Chicago Family Sues CPS Over Incident

Last February, school officials at Fisk Elementary school called 911 to report a student missing. He was later found outside, in the bitter cold without a coat, shivering and crying.

The school said the boy left the school, but security camera footage shows a very different story. A school security guard can be seen pulling the boy from a classroom, and pushing him outside into the cold. A school guidance counselor and the Principal watched the scene unfold.

The family has filed a lawsuit against CPS. The family's lawyer says the school was unhappy with the family because they had been complaining to school officials about bullying that the child had endured in recent weeks.
