Mary Stauffer is opening up about the 53 harrowing days she and her daughter were held captive by a crazed kidnapper named Ming Sen Shiue. The Minnesota high school math teacher was with her 8-year-old daughter, Beth, when she was kidnapped at gunpoint outside a beauty salon. Mary and Beth were kept chained up inside a closet in the kidnapper's home. She had been the kidnapper's ninth-grade math teacher. He was obsessed with her, and after stalking her for a decade he abducted her and her young child. For 53 days he tortured and abused them.
Now, their brave escape is the subject of a new Lifetime movie, "Abducted: The Mary Stauffer Story."
