This Teen Saved Someone's Life Through a Video Game

14-year-old Reilly Howard is getting praise from his hometown of East Hampton, Connecticut, because he saved a life while playing a video game. Howard had never met the 13-year-old in person, but they became friends through the game. When talking to him recently through the game, Howard sensed something was wrong. His friend, who lives all the way in Florida, opened up to him about the struggles he was experiencing and that he was considering suicide. Howard stayed on the phone with him for hours, and urged him to call the National Suicide Prevention line. He alerted his parents to the situation, who also stepped in to help.
