In 2017, a Colorado community rallied around a very sick little girl named Olivia Gant. People from all over wanted to help make her final days as nice as possible. But now police say her death was completely avoidable, and they're charging the girl's mother with her murder. Authorities allege Kelly Renee Turner intentionally caused Olivia Gant's failing health and eventual death. In 2017, Turner told InsideEdition.com that Olivia had autism and was suffering from a rare disorder that was causing her organs to shut down.
Police have charged her with murder, as well as with child abuse, theft, and fraud.
