This toddler had skull surgery just 48 hours before this triumphant video was taken. Branson Figueroa's mother says she shared it to show his fighting spirit. It's an inspiration to everyone who sees it! Branson was diagnosed with a condition called craniosynostosis, which means the bones in the skull closed before the brain finished forming. It can cause the brain to push against the skull as it grows. Heather Figueroa says parts of Branson’s head didn’t look even and he was having trouble sleeping. He needed surgery to correct the problem, and allow space for his growing brain. This little fighter was back on his feet and ready to take on the world just two days post-op!
