Shania Twain To Perform Her Greatest Hits At 2019 American Music Awards

Shania Twain is ready to take on the 2019 American Music Awards!

The country icon will perform at the awards show later this month, marking her first time on the AMAs stage in 16 years. The five-time American Music Award winner will perform a medley of her greatest career hits.

Fellow country singer, Thomas Rhett, is also set to hit the stage at the AMAs. Rhett is teaming up with Wells Fargo to raise awareness for their Holiday Food Bank, with donations going to Feeding America. Other previously announced performers include Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Lizzo and Taylor Swift.

Swift has been nominated in several categories this year including Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock, Favorite Album Pop/Rock for Lover, Favorite Music Video for "You Need To Calm Down," and Favorite Artist Adult Contemporary. The singer will also be honored this year with the Artist of the Decade award. If the Swift takes home just two AMAs this year, she cold break the record for most AMA wins of all time.

Across the board, country music will be strongly represented at the AMAs this year. Rhett has been nominated for Favorite Male Artist Country up against Luke Combs and Kane Brown. For the ladies, Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini are all up for Favorite Female Artist Country.

Underwood and Brown are also nominated for Favorite Album Country along with Dan + Shay. Blake Shelton, Combs and Dan + Shay received a nod for Favorite Song Country. Dan + Shay are also up for Favorite Duo/Group Country with Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion.

Additionally, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' hit "Old Town Road" receive multiple nominations in 2019 including Collaboration of the Year.

The 2019 American Music Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
