A substitute teacher is under arrest and charged with aggravated assault after video showed her beating a sophomore in a spanish class at a Texas high school.
32-year-old Tiffany Lankford can be seen throwing punch after punch at the 16-year-old, then dragging the teen to the ground and stomping on her head. The student can be heard wailing on the ground in the video.
The school says that the substitute teacher was hired in August, and did pass a background check at that time. She has since been fired, and banned from school grounds. Parents are still pressing for answers about the attack.
