New Planet Was Discovered by a 17-Year-Old

This reminds me of the film Deep Impact but hopefully without the terrible ending!

A teenager from New York state did something pretty extraordinary... You might even say it was out of this world! Sorry, that was corny, but I couldn't resist! Wolf Cukier, 17, discovered a planet that is 1,300 light years away and seven times larger than Earth! Cukier is a senior at Scarsdale High School in New York, and he is an intern for NASA. While he expected his internship to be exciting, he had no idea it would be this exciting! Wolf's planet has officially been named TOI 1388 b, but the teen has a catchier suggestion: Wolftopia.
