Ten-Year-Old Escapes Attempted Kidnapping

An extraordinarily brave 10-year-old boy in Utah is opening up about how he escaped an attempted kidnapping. Grayden Dowland was walking home from his basketball coach's house outside Salt Lake City at about 6 p.m. He just made it home when a car pulled up next to him. He says two men in that car offered him candy and invited him to go for a ride. Video from his home’s surveillance camera shows Grayden make it to his front door, but the door was locked. Suddenly the car begins to drive towards Grayden and his house. He screamed for his mother, then picked up rocks and threw them at the car until it drove off.
