Chicago Man With Coronavirus Worked & Traveled Before Showing Symptoms

Chicago health officials say a man in Chicago with a confirmed case of coronavirus went to work and even traveled to a nearby state while he was contagious.

The man is one of two confirmed cases in the city. He contracted the virus from his wife, who had recently visited Wuhan, China, the epicenter for this highly contagious new illness.

Officials say the man went to work at his office in the loop while he was contagious but not yet showing symptoms. He also traveled to Cleveland, Ohio for work. Officials are trying to track down everyone he had close contact with. He has not taken public transportation, and did not attend any large gatherings or group events.
