This is such an incredible story. Nurses don't always receive the respect and admiration they deserve! They're on the front lines of hospitals and doctors offices, working one-on-one with patients, on their feet all day, working crazy hours, and so much more. They spend way more caring for patients than doctors actually do, and they all deserve a big thank you!
Zayne Alexander Caldwell was born ten weeks early, weighing in at just 3 pounds, which meant the precious little newborn had to spend some time being cared for in a NICU. It was a terrifying experience for his parents, and one very special nurse at the NICU spent some time trying to help calm them down. Later, when Zayne's dad, David Caldwell, was looking through his baby book when he saw a familiar face: the NICU nurse caring for his baby son, Zayne!
