Chicago Man Charged In Sexual Assault of Toddler in River North Bathroom

Charges were filed against a man accused of sexually assaulting a toddler in a restaurant bathroom in River North.

Chicago police arrested Christopher Puente, 34, yesterday for criminal trespassing after he refused to leave a local business. While he was in police custody, they realized he was also the man captured on video surveillance tapes leaving the bathroom at the McDonald's in River North where he sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl.

He's been charged with one felony count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13, and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespassing.

A man says he witnessed a man taking the girl into a bathroom stall so he called police.
