Bus Driver Who Asked People to Cover Their Coughs Has Died from COVID

This story really tears me up... If you absolutely have to be out in public right now, you have a responsibility to practice good hygiene. It's a matter of life and death.

Jason Hargrove was a bus driver in Detroit, Michigan. On March 21, Hargrove took to Facebook and posted an emotional video. He explained that a female passenger boarded his bus and repeatedly coughed near him. He said he "felt violated" by her behavior.

Four days later, Hargrove tested positive for the coronavirus. On April 1, he tragically lost his battle with the deadly virus, becoming one of 10,000 Americans to perish from COVID-19.

This is why we're all being asked to stay home. If you absolutely must go out, please practice good hygiene! Cover when you cough. And consider wearing a facemask or covering, as the CDC recommends.
