The Chicago Park District is still offering summer day camp, despite the coronavirus pandemic. Online registration opened Thursday morning for parks west of California Avenue. Summer camp will provide Chicago children with some much-needed social interaction and outdoor play. There will be fewer spots available than in previous years, as the camps adhere to strict social distancing policies. Campers will also be required to wear masks, and bring their own water. The camps will run from July 6 - August 14, and only for Chicago residents between the ages of 6 and 12. For more information or to sign up, head over here to the Chicago Park District website.
