78 days... That's almost how long most of us spent in lockdown at home! But for one East Chicago, Indiana resident, 78 days were spent fighting for his life.
74-year-old Lester Jackson was finally reunited with his family and friends this week after a 78-day-long hospital stay, fighting the coronavirus battle. Many of his family members hadn't seen him in more than 90 days. In mid March, Jackson developed a severe cough and difficulty breathing. His family took him to Regency Hospital where he was diagnosed with the coronavirus and admitted. Jackson reportedly had no previous health conditions when he was diagnosed with the virus.
