Beloved First Grade Teacher Dies from COVID-19 During Summer School

The death of beloved first grade teacher Kimberly Byrd in Arizona is shaking the nation, after it was revealed that she and two other teachers who shared a classroom were all stricken with COVID-19. The teachers taught the summer school class together as students watched via Zoom from home. They say they took every precaution, including spreading out and wearing masks.
