Comedian With COVID Urges Fans to Get Tested After Attending His Show

A comedian made an urgent plea that was no laughing matter. Bryan Callen posted the news that he tested positive for the coronavirus on his Instagram account and urged people who attended his sold out shows in San Antonio, Texas at the end of June to get tested. Callen says he had direct physical contact with some of the attendees, offering fist bumps to them after his set. He shared the stage with fellow comedian Brendan Schaub, who said on Twitter he also tested positive for the virus. The two co-host the podcast The Fighter & the Kid, where Callen admitted, "Brendan and I did everything wrong in Texas.”
