According to reports, Outback Steakhouse, Applebee’s, and the Cheesecake Factory have stopped paying rent on some of their locations and are facing the possibility of not being able to pay back their debts. California Pizza Kitchen recently filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. According to Yelp, over 72,000 restaurants all across the country have closed their doors permanently since the pandemic began.
