Megan Moroney revealed four new shows added to her lengthy list of stops on her headlining “Am I Okay? Tour” in 2025. The reigning CMA New Artist of the Year made her announcement on Monday (December 9).
Moroney has two shows set for Savannah, Georgia, plus one in Canandaigua, New York, and one in Charlotte, North Carolina. Moroney’s tour is set to kick off on March and will run into October, with stops in Georgia, Tennessee, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina, Colorado, California, Texas and other destinations. Tickets to the new shows will be available to the general public beginning Friday (December 13) at 10 a.m. local time.
The tour is titled after Moroney’s highly-anticipated sophomore album that arrived in July, and its deluxe edition, Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), that followed in October. The extended 17-track collection includes the title track, “No Called ID,” “Man on the Moon,” “Indifferent,” “Break It Right Back” and more. Moroney’s latest album followed her powerful debut record, Lucky.
“After putting Lucky out and getting to a point where my fans and I know each other so much better, I felt like I could open up and discuss things I’ve never talked about in my music before,” Moroney said in a press release when her album arrived in July. “Sometimes it almost feels like oversharing, but I feel like I have a responsibility to all the people who send me DMs or talk to me at shows and tell me how my songs helped them through a breakup or a bad time in their lives. If I can write about my heartbreak and make someone else feel like there’s a way out, then of course I’m going to keep doing that. …I wanted to capture what life feels like in your 20s, where one minute you’re sad about an ex and the next you’re just having fun with your friends and couldn’t care less.
“Going into making this record, I was getting a lot of outside opinions on what my second album should be,” she said. “After a while I realized I just needed to stay true to how I started writing songs when I was 19, and then focus on making music that sonically supports the stories I’m telling. I did my best to block out all that outside noise, and just lead with honesty the whole way through.”
