The Chicago Cubs open their season in five weeks and City hall is ready to put Mayor Rahm Emanuel's plan to double parking meter rates around Wrigley Field in place.
The Chicago Sun Times report that signs will start going up in areas by the north side of Irving Park Road, the west side of Southport, the south side of Belmont and the east side of North Broadway.
Parking rates will double from $2 to $4 an hour. This wills tart two hours before a game, concert or other special event at Wrigley Field and go for seven hours.
