A Chicago family was willing to open their home and lives to care for a baby they had never met before. Dominique was born in the Ivory Coast in West Africa with a rare condition that had the remnants of her conjoined twin attached to her.. leaving her with 4 legs and 2 spines. After a very complicated surgery at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridges, her foster family is nursing her back to health before she is sent back to her family in Africa next month.
