How was your weekend?
Mine started off with a great workout, of course in my iHeart Country gear getting ready to watch the iHeart Country Festival!
Saturday, I was on the air 10-4 and then Emily came over to watch the iHeart Country Festival and we made tacos! (Sadly I didn't get a picture of the tacos.. but I did get a great shot of the pretty tulips on my way to work!
Sunday was great though, my little sister Kristin and I got to spend the whole day together! She's on hold at the Navy base in Great Lakes, so she got a family day with me.
We started the day with Church and then lunch.. of course we had to do a selfie!
Then we rode bikes around Chicago being touristy, like this one at the Buckingham fountain.
We made our way over to Navy Pier and rode the ferris wheel. It was my first time doing it and I can't wait to do it again, the views are incredible!
We finished the night at my apartment with take out and a movie, then I took her back to base.
