Have been getting lots of messages about my little sister, so I thought I'd update you on her progress in the Navy!
At the end of March, my little sister Kristin graduated from boot-camp in Great Lakes, IL. She has been in holding ever since, waiting on a medical waiver for the position she intended to do while in the Navy. This meant that I got to see her every weekend for the last 8 weeks. It's been such a blessing to have her in Chicago with me since my entire family lives in Florida and I only get to see them a few times a year.
Her medical waiver has officially been granted and she is now off to Florida for Air Crew Candidate School. I am so extremely proud of her and am so grateful for the support of the BIG 955 family during her time here.
Yesterday, (Sunday, June 11) was her last day in Chicago so I took her to her very first Cubs game!
This morning she shipped out and I could not be more proud of my baby sister!
