Public health officials are warning consumers that the ever so popular Moscow Mule copper mug could be poisoning you.
The food and drug administration guidelines say that copper should not come into contact with acidic foods with a PH below 6.0 and the moscow mule is well below 6.0.
If the copper does in fact come in contact with the foods with a low PH... copper may be leached into the food.
