The details have never really been revealed of how Walker and his wife Laney lost their daughter Oakleigh Klover.. until now.
Walker Hayes opened up to People.com saying that Lane's labor wasn't ordinary. There were "alarming symptoms" and within an hour of her going into labor the doctors had to perform emergency surgery.
Once the delivery was over, the nurses delivered the news to Walker, saying that not only did his baby girl not make it, but his wife Laney's life was on the line too.
He told People;
"I just waited."
"I really just hoped that this wasn't going to be the worst day of my life, even though it kind of already was."
Laney's life was saved and she's recovered from the traumatic experience from all of the physical trauma.
