STUDY: Drinking Hot Tea Doubles Your Risk of Esophageal Cancer

Okay, this is a little scary!

A new study is proposing that drinking hot tea warmer than 140 fahrenheit have a higher risk of getting esophageal cancer, but the risk is 90% higher if you have more than 700 ml of tea per day.

The study was published in the International Journal of Cancer.
