REST IN MY RADIANT PRESENCE
Am I the only one who loves being busy? I feel like when my schedule is full, it's when I'm doing my 'best'.. but, in all reality.. it's probably when we're operating on an empty tank.
In the Bible, even Jesus rests. How cool is it to know that rest is actually something we're SUPPOSED to do. But, it starts with us making that boundary.
The faster and faster our world spins and our schedule fills up.. the less time we have to spend in the presence of the Lord.
Whether that's praying.. or reading.. doing a devotional.. or even reading this blog post.. you made a choice today to REST and spend time in His presence.
It really is as simple as that!
Pray this prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, allow me to rest. Help me make the decisions to say no to some things and not feel bad about it.. clear my schedule to spend more time in your presence. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
