WAITING, TRUSTING, AND HOPING
All three of these words are so closely connected!! In today's devotional it says;
Waiting Trusting and Hoping are intricately connected, like golden strands interwoven to form a strong chain. Trusting is the central strand because it is the response from My children that I desire the most.
Remember how yesterday we talked about walking by faith, not by sight? That's essentially TRUSTING God.. that's all he wants.
When we 'braid' the 3 strands of waiting, trusting and hoping together.. it becomes this STRONG rope if you will, that becomes essentially indestructible when it comes to anything thrown at us. But, when we say that we 'trust' God.. we have to ACTUALLY mean it. It can't be empty trust.. it has to be fully 100% honest trust.
God is faithful.. trust Him because he knows how our story is written.
Pray this prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I want to trust you. Not just partially.. but FULLY. Allow me to step out in faith and trust you with all that I am. Guide my steps to continue the story you've already written. Thank you for believing in me.. thank you for loving me.. thank you for always being faithful. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
