I'm honestly not sure why dating apps don't all have this feature.. because 1. Meeting up with a stranger is stressful enough.. but 2. Don't you want to feel safe regardless?
Tinder just announced they will soon allow users to do background checks on their dates.
It seems a little over the top, but the app says in most cases, no last name will be required because of the resource they'll use called Garbo. Garbo, founded by women, is a non-profit background check platform.
Garbo will be the platform available to Tinder users later this year.
