Country Singer Penned Song For Her Daughter Before Her Death

The country music world is still mourning the tragic and untimely passing of up and coming artist Kylie Rae Harris. Harris died last week in a three-vehicle car crash in New Mexico. She was just 30-years-old. Harris released her self-titled EP in March. She was particularly proud of a song titled "Twenty Years From Now," which she wrote for her 6-year-old daughter, Corbie. Harris lost her father to cancer and said she wrote the song because she realizes some kids don't get to know their parents as adults themselves, she said.

While I hope Corbie finds comfort in the song from her mother as she grows, I can't imagine the heartache this poor child will feel for the rest of her life.
