After 40 years in this condo, a sanitation crew was finally called in to clean up an extreme hoarder's huge mess. The home was filled to the ceiling with garbage, and had a unwelcome population of cockroaches, silverfish, spiders, and other pests.
The man living in the disaster passed out in his home from the putrid mess, and was carried out by paramedics. This happened last August, and he hasn't been back since.
Clean-up crews miraculously managed to clear out the garbage, but the home will still need to be gutted before it's livable again.
