The Shedd Aquarium is one of my favorite spots in Chicago. It's not just for tourists! Residents can and should enjoy all the incredible exhibits at this stunning aquarium. But let's be real for a minute... It's expensive! Those ticket prices can really add up when you factor in your family or friends who are tagging along, plus parking costs, and any other extras you may want to purchase. So it's really awesome that Shedd offers free days for Illinois residents to enjoy all the wonders that Shedd has to offer, for free! The aquarium recently released a list of free days for this year and there's a week coming up this month!
Illinois free resident days for 2020 will be:
- January 16-20, 2020
- February 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, 24-28, 2020
- June 15, 16, 22, 23, 2020
So mark your calendar and make plans now!
