A tragic accident turned into a chain reaction on Chicago's southwest side this week.
A Metra train struck a car on the tracks at 87th and Pulaski. The car then struck a pedestrian who was walking near the train. Four people in total were critically injured in the accident that took place late Wednesday night.
The crash delayed the southwest service line for hours for officials to conduct the investigation.
