Tips to Improve Your Sleep During the Global Pandemic

You can't spell "pandemic" without PANIC! As the coronavirus continues to spread and claim thousands of lives every single day, billions around the world grapple with our current reality. So if you're having a difficult time getting good quality sleep at night, you're not alone!

In addition to the anxiety we're all working through, social isolation can have negative effects on our sleep cycle as well. But the situation isn't hopeless!

Clinical psychologist Michael Breus, who is known as "The Sleep Doctor," says sleep is especially important in the fight against the coronavirus. His advice includes having a consistent bedtime and wake-up time, and to get away from screens before bed. Many people keep scrolling until right before they go to bed, but Breus recommends putting down the phone at least 90 minutes before bed. It takes some discipline but the results are worth it!
