eBay Employees Charged with Strange, Movie-Inspired Crime

Six former eBay employees have been charged in a bizarre case that echos a plotline from the 1988 teen movie "Johnny Be Good." The former employees have been charged with cyberstalking a journalist couple by sending them a series of bizarre deliveries, including live cockroaches and spiders, according to federal prosecutors. Ina and David Steiner published an online e-commerce newsletter featuring commentary that was critical of the e-commerce giant. According to Federal Prosecutors working on the bizarre case, the employees all worked for the company's Security and Global Intelligence Team. The crime is being called one of the strangest corporate scandals in recent history.
