Bring a pair of pants to slip on after the fun is over...
The "No Pants Subway Ride" takes place in cities across the nation this Sunday.
Of course, in Chicago it usually takes place on the Red Line. If I participated I would remain standing because skin to seat contact on the Red Line is not something I would want to experience.
People will strip down and smile at the cold hard stares from strangers who have no idea what is going on.
The Chicago version of "No Pants Subway Ride" usually starts at the Loyola station around noon but it's never publicly confirmed. If it's something you want to do or witness, check out their FB page.
Improv Everywhere in New York City created the event in 2002. Each January, a group of riders remove their pants and board a train. Pantsless riders are encouraged to act normal and enjoy looks of surprise and confusion that they receive from fellow riders.
